Pearl's Passage
,

Installation, 2017

An old carpet with a personal family history from Anatolia transforms itself with leather, steel eyelets and metal chains into a new object work: Verts erotic swing creates a hybrid of tradition, desire and reflection in order to focus socio-cultural attributions and their social positioning in their respective contexts. Viron Erol Vert’s Pearl's Passage was shown for the first time at the exhibition "ğ - das weiche g" at Schwules Museum, Berlin 2017.
