Epilogue

De-heimatize Belonging

2:30 – 3 PM
EPILOGUE: LECTURE PERFORMANCES BY MICHELLE HIGGINS AND PROF. DR. GINA ATHENA ULYSSE

For a collective development of new systems of reference and visionary paths for change and liberation in the sake of De-heimatization two lecture performances will expand the conceptual framework. Michelle Higgins will survey movements of Black struggle and the function of Spiritual Arts: How can the oppressed advance the power and create passion for liberation and transformative change? Prof. Dr. Gina Athena Ulysse invites us to a holistic recalibration in times of deepest fracture: in a poetic and sonic meditation on the concept of »Rasanblaj«, Haitian Kreyòl for assembly, regrouping, gathering of things, ideas, people and spirits, our collective past is being confronted in order to make sense of the present.
