Grada Kilomba, artist of the 4. Berliner Herbstsalon, elaborated on the coloniality of knowledge production and her decolonial psychoanalytic theory. She gave an introduction to her artistic practice: elaborating on "going beyond the structure", self-positioning and creating new narratives. Grada Kilomba emphasized the importance of diobedience and introduced her works on "politics of ignorance and invisibility" and "politics of violence". She also gave advice to the YCA participants on how to deal with tokenism, possibilities to inverse power structures and recommended "to take risks".
