CLOSED SESSION: Cagla Ilk and Aljoscha Begrich

The dramaturgs of Maxim Gorki Theatre, Cagla Ilk and Aljoscha Begrich, talked about the curation processes of Berliner Herbstsalon´s current and the last exhibitions , including the influence of the political situation on curating and exhibiting decisions, the idea of interdisciplinary and continuity, the central idea of the archive in the current exhibition, and presented arts that are not in the exhibition. The YCA discussed with them about the terminology of the curator in relation to neoliberal realities, symbolic capital, hierarchy and horizontality, naming as accountability.
