Thao Ho

Thao Ho is an activist, writer and community organizer. She is the founder of DAMN* (*Deutsche Asiat*innen, Make Noise!), an open activist collective that aims to make people of the Asian Diaspora in Germany visible beyond representation, and that strives for an equal political participation of all Black and People of Color. She is a student assistant for Rev(isual)ising Intersectionality (HU Berlin and DeZim). Her research interests include club culture, queer futurity, trauma studies and archives.

She shares Spaces Where We Touch, a kaleidoscope of spoken word, communal and individual documentation of belonging, resistance and alienation, framed by the permeable walls of the nail salon. It becomes a place of exchanging aspirations towards shared futures, which redefine the conception of belonging that is no longer based on soil and blood.
