Olivia Hyunsin Kim works as a choreographer, performer and curator in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Seoul. She founded the network ddanddarakim within which she collaborates in different constellations with artists from diverse fields and backgrounds. Together they create choreographies involving multiple narratives and hybrid stories, often around the themes of postcolonialism and intersectional feminism.
She is sharing a remix of several pieces about her body being an everyday battleground, not only in daily life, but also in navigating inside the theatre. A body that is full of complexities, a hybrid full of fluid identities, a clash of many bodies coming together. A body that is a meeting place for trauma, pleasure and empowerment all intertwined and coexisting.
