Manuela Bojadžijev

Prof. Dr. Manuela Bojadžijev is Vice-Director of BIM, the Berlin Institute for Integration and Migration Research, and Professor for Globalised Cultures at the Leuphana University in Lüneburg. Her research interests are migration, racism, digitalisation and labour, culture theory, political and economic anthropology, qualitative and innovative methods. She currently researches on the digitalisation of labour and configurations of real and virtual migration. Apart from her teaching and research activities, she is co-curator with Carolin Emcke of the Archive of Refuge at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), Berlin and co-curated the research and conference project Dangerous Conjunctures. On the relevance of Balibar´s/Wallerstein´s »race, class, nation« (2018) at HKW, Berlin.
