Tribunal “NSU-Komplex Auflösen”

Until the NSU exposed itself in 2011, the experiences of those affected were ignored in wider societal discussions, a pattern of behaviour that continued throughout the judicial process in the Munich trial. Held in Cologne in May 2017, the ›NSU-Komplex auflösen‹ tribunal made institutional and structural racism visible in their indictment. Within the framework of the 3. Berliner Herbstsalon, the perspectives of those affected are placed at the centre of attention. The spot_the_silence exhibition project presents Gesprächs-Sequenzen, which inquire after a different perspective on the NSU complex. In addition, the Forensic Architecture research team will present the results of their investigation into the murder of Halit Yozgat.

The presentation will be accompanied by a reading from the NSU-Komplex auflösen tribunal on Thursday, 16 November at 8:30 pm in Studio Я.

The People’s Tribunal ›NSU-Komplex Auflösen‹ was initiated and carried out by the nationwide activist alliance ›NSU-Komplex auflösen‹ that originated in 2015 together with a multitude of people. The point of view of the people targeted by the violence of the NSU is the focus of this alliance’s work.
