The Russian collective Chto Delat often tries to transform the institutional exhibition space into an area where an educational experience can be made. The КЛУБ АКТИВИСТКИ / CLUB OF ACTIVISTS was inspired by the design of the workers’ club by Constructivist Alexandr Rodchenko, which was presented in 1925 in Paris. In his club, practical and active learning is supposed to be established as an aesthetic-social practice. The club is thus designed to distance itself explicitly from the bourgeois-elitist concept of art appreciation. In the 3. Berliner Herbstsalon, the КЛУБ АКТИВИСТКИ / CLUB OF ACTIVISTS will be filled with the following discoursive programme.
