MFA-Public Art and New Artistic Strategies, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar

Hailing from around the world, the artists in the Public Art and New Artistic Strategies master’s course develop specific installations, interventions and performances in and around the Kronprinzenpalais. Their different biographical backgrounds and cultural perspectives allow for an exploration of the spaces and their histories from different perspectives. Under the direction of Dr. Boris Buden and Dr. Sabine Folie, fireplace talks on various aspects of art’s influence on society will take place in their exhibition space.

A cooperation with the master study programme „Public Art and New Artistic Strategies/Kunst im öffentlichen Raum und neue künstlerische Strategien”, Fakultät Kunst und Gestaltung, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar lead by Prof. Danica Dakić, Gastprof. Dr. Sabine Folie, Anke Hannemann, Ina Weise und Jirka Reichmann (coordination). Sponsored by Kreativfonds of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
